For Publishers

TWK Designs is not currently pursuing self-publication or crowdfunding opportunities to bring its designs to market, but is instead seeking collaborations with board game publishers who share a passion for strategic, immersive, and player-driven designs.

Even as a one-person studio, TWK Designs ensures every prototype has a clear creative vision, polished mechanics, and extensive playtesting. Partnership opportunities with board game publishers are approached with professionalism and transparency, fostering trust and a shared commitment to bringing each design to market at its fullest potential.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have you ever had one of your designs published before?

No, none of my board game designs have been published to date.

Are you willing to give the publisher full creative control over one of your designs?

Yes, I understand that publishers know their market best and may need to take full creative control to ensure a game’s success. I’m always happy to collaborate and provide input when asked, but ultimately I trust the publisher’s expertise.

What role does AI play in your game design process?

I don’t use AI to generate artwork as I believe only artists can truly bring my designs to life. I use AI as a support tool for brainstorming names and themes, as well as for proofreading my materials to catch inconsistencies or errors.

Do you pitch your board game designs to multiple publishers at once?

Yes, I typically reach out to several publishers at the same time to gauge their interest in one of my designs. However, once a publisher expresses interest and requests a prototype, I provide them with exclusivity for a mutually agreed period of time. If multiple publishers express interest and request a prototype, I operate on a first-come, first-serve basis.
